About
Tamara Kazziha is an Egyptian born, Scottish raised versatile violinist, vocalist, composer/producer and trained breathwork facilitator.

​​She has studied western classical and Scottish/Irish folk music at the Royal Conservatoire of Music & Drama in Scotland from the age of 9. Having travelled extensively throughout India, Portugal, Egypt. she draws inspiration from the musical cultures she has immersed herself in, often blending western classical with celtic/arab folk to come up with a unique sound and style of playing. She teaches western classical violin, and most enjoys facilitating improvisation and tailored sessions for both voice and violin, as well as ear training to bring out her students' innate musicality.

Alongside composing string arrangements and producing for short and feature films, she has co-composed scores for theatre productions such as The Vampire Rabbit and A Christmas Carol in Newcastle. She has played alongside Lucky Ali on MTV in India and has performed throughout the UK and Indian music festivals such as Womad, Secret Garden Party, Buddhafield, Magnetic Fields and Control Alt Delete.​

Other passions include (but are not limited to) live performance including street performance, song-writing and soundscape creation, astrological chart readings, social experiments, film photography and making healthy and delicious cakes!
